Matt – The Texans can clinch the AFC South with a win tonight vs Pirates of the lower Atlantic. I know Tampa Bay has been hot and the following statement is more cliche than analysis, but this is the kind of game that playoffs teams win.
Incidentally, Tampa will be missing the playoffs for the 12th straight season.

Los Angeles Rams @ San Francisco 49ers
Matt – It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see the Rams steal this one. San Fran hasn’t swept the season series v LA since 2016 (to be fair, they were largely terrible in that time) and Los Angeles are literally playing for their lives. Having said that, Jared Goff has 861 yards in five total games vs San Fran. The 9ers look like a better team, and though LA needs this game to stay alive, the 9ers need it to keep pace in the NFC. San Francisco still controls their own destiny. They can win the NFC with wins in their final two games. Take the 9ers.
